Dublin and North East Ireland Tour

This excursion includes five days of golf in some of Ireland’s finest courses in Dublin and the north east, along with six days accommodation including breakfast each morning. Some of the finest links courses in the world are featured during this tour, making it an ideal entry point to golfing in Ireland. When you’re not golfing, you’ll be able to enjoy the historic attractions of Dublin or indulge in the comforts of the two luxury hotels where you’ll spend your evenings.

Day One (Portmarnock Golf Club)

Dublin’s most renowned and respected links, Portmarnock has a fine tradition dating back to its foundation in 1894. The course is located within easy reach of the centre of Dublin, making it an excellent place to being your golfing adventure in Ireland.

Day Two (Royal Dublin)

This fine course includes Jack Nicklaus among its famous members and is well regarded as one of the finest on the east coast. Overhauled in the early 2000s, the Royal Dublin has lost none of its challenged or its reward which has been a hallmark of the course since its creation.

Day Three (The Island)

Once an island, now a peninsula, you thankfully won’t need a boat to get to this fine course in north County Dublin where the Donabate estuary meets the Irish Sea, making for a beautiful setting for your game. The Island also has some of Ireland’s highest dunes.

Day Four (Royal County Down)

Located in the Murlough Nature Reserve, the Royal County Down links, established in 1889, is one of the most stunning golfing locations in the world. With the imposing backdrop of the Mourne Mountains, the Royal County Down was designed by the legendary Old Tom Morris.

Day Five (Baltray)

Officially known as the County Louth Golf Club, Baltray has a range of competitions at both the amateur and professional level, including two European Irish Opens. Set along the stunning shore of the Irish Sea, this is a serene and beautiful place to play golf.
